For parents
What is in the videos, how they are made, and what happens once your child is on YouTube.
- Age
- Made for children aged 1 to 6. Each video is short and follows one small idea.
- Pace
- Slow on purpose, with room for little ones to look, listen and answer back.
- Sound
- Soft voices and no loud noises.
- Pictures
- Gentle animated scenes with no flashing.
- Words on screen
- Titles stay honest and calm. Videos never tell children to subscribe or click.
- On YouTube
- Every video is marked Made for Kids. On those videos YouTube turns off comments and personalised ads.
Questions parents ask
How are the videos made?
AI tools help create the pictures and voices. A grown-up reviews each video and decides what goes online. Nothing is published without that final watch.
Are the videos educational?
They are gentle stories built around small everyday ideas. They are not a learning programme, and no expert or organisation has reviewed or approved them.
Will my child see ads?
Possibly. YouTube decides this. Made for Kids videos do not get personalised ads, but they can show other ads if a channel earns money from YouTube.
What plays after a video ends?
YouTube may start something from another channel. We do not control that. You can turn autoplay off in the YouTube player or set limits in YouTube's parental controls.
Is this website for children?
No. It is for grown-ups. There is nothing for children to sign up for, and we collect no information from them.
Something in a video worries me. What should I do?
Tell us at [email protected] and name the video. We read every message about a video's content.
